hendrix was so full of passion for music. he unleashed it on stage. understandably countless visual artists are inspired by his energy and attempt to capture it on paper. heres a quick doodle I did. I think ill paint this one up.

colored one of my sketches from last saturdays observational sketches.
a lot of the work I do has a very specific role to fill in a production, as I work in the animation industry. I think when I am doing art for the sake of art, like this peice, I sometimes free associate more, allowing my work to go in more abnormal directions.

i miss the days of attending Bobby Chius subway sketching in Toroonto....but this was certainly a lot of fun.
