These sketches are 1-2 minutes sharpy marker and brush pen gestures.
I also decided to try and tackle watercolour life drawing...Wow, fun, but I find it more difficult then getting my shi-tzu to permanently walk upright.
Anyways, Im not satisfied with these paintings but I want this blog to be an honest display of my development. The top one is totally overworked as a result of me really wrestling with the tonal relationships. The second took a lot fewer passes, but still is not as spontaneous as I would like. Although, I am rather proud of her left elbow. Now to get the other 98% working....
