i did this digital a while back. Ive been working on painting this image on a wood 1 by 2 foot wood panel with my gamblin oil paint for off and on for about 5 weeks now. Im using a glazing technique, which is going well, but is extremely slow as I let each nearly tranparent layer dry before adding another pass. The trick is to forget about the painting for a week every time I do another pass of lighting. The skin is about 75% done now after 4 passes. Hair after that and its done....
