Studying some anatomy and trying out the digital painting technique that Anthony Jones taught us at Schoolism Toronto. I invested time into painting just the silloette of each pose, allowing me to focus on negative shape and enhancing the pose. Once happy with the mid tone silloette I used a clipping mask to paint inside of it. First the dark shadows, then lights, and finally highlights...using just one layer to paint and no layer modes. 60-90 minutes per figure.
